The last thing I want to mention about Haechan's voice quality is that his personality clearly shows through. He's not ridiculously upbeat and positive, but not too dull either. He's also incredibly skilled at maintaining his voice volume that both communicates confidence without being too loud and is pleasant to listen to without sounding overly quiet and unsure. He delivers his script with emphasis that touch the listener's souls instead of simply broadcasting.

He's quite known to be a fast speaker in general, but when his DJ hat is on, he knows how to adapt to the radio setting. As someone who's interested in broadcast journalism, I noticed that Haechan is an incredibly eloquent speaker. Usually, that ends up in your words getting jumbled up when trying to speak fast enough. Being a radio host means that you have to keep the listeners hooked by giving out constant information to not bore them. I also feel like to be a good radio host, you not only need to know what to say, but how to say things. He sometimes also says things off-script when he feels fits right.
I noticed that for majority of the questions/anecdotes/messages shared, Haechan also expressed his own opinions. Another thing is that he isn't there just to ask questions and lead the show, but to also interact with the guests and the audience. He listens carefully and diciphers the members words in simple terms when their phrases get confusing to the listeners. Haechan makes sure that every member gets a chance to answer when a question is asked. Especially to those who haven't been on a radio show before or aren't used to being on one. He tries his best to make the members feel comfortable and not flustered when asked a question. Although scripts are there to structure the program, the way SunD performs as a radio host is in such a genuine and spontaneous way.
